NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A tourist from Saudi Arabia was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday just steps from Central Park and the Fifth Avenue Apple Store, police said.

The 24-year-old tourist was at Fifth Avenue and East 59th Street in Midtown around 4:30 a.m. when two men, also believed to be in their 20s, pulled a gun on him.
One man held the gun to the victim while the second man stole his property according to police.
The suspects fled on foot. No arrests have been reported.
Robberies are up nearly 40% in the city this year compared to the same time last year, according to the latest NYPD data.
