NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman said she was reportedly raped by man she assumed was her rideshare driver over the weekend in Staten Island.
The New York Post reports the woman got into the car on Forest Avenue near Ridgewood Place in Tompkinsville around 2:30 a.m. Sunday — thinking it was the car she ordered.
The driver than drove a few blocks before reportedly stopping the car, getting into the backseat with the victim and rapping her.
The victim was then forced out of the car as the man sped away.
The Post reports officials could not confirm Monday morning whether the car was a ride share or a random car.
