NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A student allegedly punched a teacher multiple times inside a Staten Island high school on Thursday.
The 53-year-old was walking in the hallway at Susan Wagner High School when he was punched in the mouth and eye by the 17-year-old boy, police said.
A source told SILive.com that the man is a teacher and the boy is a student.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Richmond University Medical Center.
Police charged the teen with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Due to his age, his name is being withheld.
