Subway rider slashed with ice pick after subway bump; 3 sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a trio after a man was slashed in the face following an argument inside a Bronx subway station on Wednesday, authorities said.

At about 7 a.m., a 30-year-old man was on the mezzanine level of the 167th Street subway station in Grand Concourse when he pushed a man who bumped into him, police said.

According to officials, the victim became involved in a verbal dispute with the three men who then slashed him in the face, forehead and hand with an icepick.

The victim was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
