Suspect sought in attack on Asian man in Manhattan

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released video of a suspect Friday in an attack on an Asian man in Manhattan last month.

The NYPD said its Hate Crimes Task Force was investigating the May 22 assault at 26th Street and Broadway in the Flatiron District.

The 48-year-old victim was walking in the area around 4:20 p.m. when a man came up and punched him in the head, police said.

The assailant then made anti-Asian statements and fled, according to police.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
