
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for an individual they say attacked a 21-year-old Duane Reade employee during a robbery on Friday morning.

The incident occurred at a Harlem Duane Reade when the suspect allegedly removed items from the freezer and placed them in his bag, authorities said.
Police said a female employee approached the individual and asked him to place the items back where he removed them from.
The suspect then allegedly punched the employee in the face and before grabbing her hair and throwing her to the ground and fleeing the store, police said.

The individual is described as dark-skinned, roughly 40 years old, 6' tall, 200lbs and was last seen wearing a red jacket, blue jeans and red boots.
