
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Thursday released a photo of a suspect sought in the fatal stabbing of a teen during a dispute in Brooklyn last month, authorities said.
The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, in front of 889 Rockaway Ave. in Brownsville when 19-year-old Vernon Douglas became engaged in a verbal dispute with the suspect, the NYPD said.

According to officials, the suspect proceeded to display a knife and stabbed the Douglas twice in the chest.
The suspect then fled westbound on Lott Avenue on foot.
EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
