Suspect who drew swastikas at Queens library sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Wednesday released a photo of a suspect wanted in a hate crime that occurred at a Queens library last month.

According to officials, the suspect drew multiple swastikas on the outer wall of the Queens Public Library at 43-06 Greenpoint Ave. in Sunnyside at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Friday, May 5.

The suspect then fled the location on foot.

There were no injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
