VIDEO: Suspects rob, beat man with brass knuckles inside Times Square subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Authorities are searching for two suspects accused of beating a man during a robbery inside a subway station in Midtown earlier this month.

According to officials, on Wednesday, July 13, a 24-year-old man was approached by the two suspects on the mezzanine level of the 42nd Street and 7th Avenue subway station just after 1:30 p.m.

One suspect struck the victim in the face with brass knuckles and both suspects forcefully removed the victim's bookbag.

The suspects fled the location and the victim was treated on the scene.
