Teen girl arrested for murder in shooting death of 14-year-old Bronx boy

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A teen girl has was arrested for the shooting death of a 14-year-old Bronx boy, the NYPD announced on Thursday.

The girl, whose name was not released due to her age, was charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon

According to officials, on Nov. 30, Prince Shabazz was walking with his 15-year-old brother on a Bronx street when they were targeted by two masked and hooded shooters.

Video released by police shows the pair walking down a sidewalk and then running from the scene of the shooting on Morris Avenue, near E. 182nd Street, in the Fordham Manor section at around 9:15 p.m.

Shabazz was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His brother was not injured.
