Teenager fatally shot 4 times in front of Queens high school; 2 in custody, 1 at-large

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An 18-year-old man was fatally shot four times in front of a Queens high school on Thursday afternoon soon after class ended, according to police.

The shooting took place around 3:11 p.m. in front of PS 792 North Queens Community High School on Main Street near 77th Avenue, officials said.

Emergency responders rushed the teenager to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police arrested two people for the shooting and are searching for another suspect.

Authorities did not make clear what circumstances led up to the shooting, and an investigation is ongoing.
