NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two teen boys used a hammer to break a display glass inside of a Brooklyn smoke shop before stealing hundreds of dollars worth of CBD products last week, authorities said.

The smash-and-grab robbery happened inside of Zazarus at 330 Central Avenue in Bushwick around 11:45 a.m. on Oct.5, police said.

The teens entered the store with face masks on demanding property with a hammer in hand, according to officials.

When the employee refused to comply with the suspects’ demands, one boy used the hammer to smash the display glass and steal CBD products worth about $651 before fleeing the scene, cops said.

The thieves are described as being between 14-and-16 years old.
