VIDEO: Trio sought in knifepoint robbery aboard Bronx subway train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify three unknown men wanted in connection to a robbery at knifepoint that happened aboard a Bronx subway train last week, authorities said.

Just after 2 a.m. on Friday, February 11, a 23-year-old man was riding aboard a northbound 2 train when he was approached by the three suspects inside of the 225 Street subway station in Wakefield.

Police said one of the suspects produced a knife and demanded property.

The trio stole the victim’s cell phone and exited the train and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim was not reported injured.

The property had an estimated value of $500, authorities said.

The three suspects are described as all men, 20-30 years in age. There were all last seen wearing dark-colored clothing.
