NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Donald Trump said he won't drop out of the 2024 presidential race if he's convicted of a felony in the "hush money" case brought by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

"Is there anything they could throw at you legally, that would convince you to drop out the race?" Tucker Carlson asked Trump during a Fox News interview that aired Tuesday night.

"If you get convicted in this case in New York, would you drop out?" Carlson added.

"No, I’d never drop," Trump said. "It's not my thing. I wouldn’t do it."

Trump said he doesn't believe he'll be convicted in the first place. "I've been through seven years of bulls*** investigations," he said.

Trump also predicted President Joe Biden won't run in 2024.

"I don't see how it's possible," Trump said, adding "it’s not an age thing."

"There's something wrong," he said of Biden. "I don't think he can."

The interview came a week after Trump was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection to alleged "hush money" payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and two other people.

Trump has denied he committed any crimes, and he has said he never had an affair with Daniels.

While Trump faces more than 100 years in prison if convicted of all the counts, legal experts have said it's unlikely he'd get jail time.

Trump faces additional probes in Georgia and Washington, where prosecutors are investigating his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election and his handling of classified documents.

On Thursday, Trump is scheduled to return to Manhattan for a deposition in a business fraud lawsuit filed against him and his company by state Attorney General Letitia James.
