Freddy Saquisili, a 42-year-old from Baldwin Long Island, hit a 73-year-old man in a wheelchair who was crossing mid-block on Central Avenue near Nameoke Avenue in Far Rockaway just after 9 a.m. on Saturday.

The victim became entangled with the truck, and Saquisili dragged him down the block before stopping, police said.

His identity has not been released.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to St. John’s Epsicopal Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Saquisili stayed at the scene, but because he was driving without the proper license, he is criminally liable for the crash.

If found guilty, he faces up to four years in prison for aggravated unlicensed driving.

The NYPD Highway Division’s Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the incident.
