VIDEO: Bullets fly on Bronx street as gunman shoots at passing car

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A gunman fired shots at a passing car on a Bronx street, sending bullets into a parked vehicle and an apartment window, police said as they released video of the shooting Monday.

Video from the NYPD shows the gunman firing multiple shots on a sidewalk on White Plains Road, near E. 223rd Street, just before 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the gunman and another male were walking together along White Plains Road when the former began firing multiple rounds towards a moving vehicle.

Video shows multiple cars passing on the street as the bullets fly and the second male ducks for cover.

A parked, unoccupied BMW SUV was damaged by gunfire, police said. Another round passed through a window at a second-floor apartment; a 41-year-old man inside the home was not hit.

No injuries were reported in the shooting, police said.
