NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A father and his six-year-old son were robbed in their Bronx apartment building as they returned home from a Yankees game this week, police said Wednesday as they released video of a suspect.

The video shows the 40-year-old father and son arriving home around 9 p.m. Monday at their building near Sheridan Avenue and 161st Street in Concourse Village.
A man followed them into the lobby, where he took out a handgun and pointed it at the father and son, police said.

Video shows the gunman cornering the two of them in a darkened hallway as the boy holds a toy baseball bat.
The thief stole $30 from the father before fleeing on foot, according to police. He was last seen headed southbound on Sheridan Avenue.
No injuries were reported in the robbery, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
