NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 32-year-old man was shot in the back during a drive-by shooting in the Bronx on Tuesday, surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows.
The man was sitting in a parked car in front of a building on Vyse Avenue, near East 174th Street, in Crotona Park East around 12:40 a.m. when a driver in a silver Honda CR-V pulled up next to him, police said Friday.
After the driver pulled up, someone inside the CR-V fired a round of shots at the man, hitting him once in the back, the NYPD said.
The CR-V driver fled the scene on East 174th Street, according to the department.
The 32-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.
