NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 63-year-old man was attacked and robbed at a Brooklyn subway station this week, police said Thursday as they released disturbing video of the assault amid a search for a suspect.
The victim was attempting to swipe his MetroCard at the Union Street station in Park Slope around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday when he was approached from behind by another man, police said.

The man slapped and kicked the victim’s face repeatedly before stealing his wallet from his back pocket, according to police.
Video from the NYPD shows the victim lying on the ground near the subway turnstiles as he is attacked.
The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
Police said the suspect fled the area after the robbery.
