NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A thief kicked an 85-year-old man to the ground and robbed him outside his Bronx home this week, police said Thursday as they released video of the suspect.

The victim was entering his home on Cannon Place in Van Cortlandt Village around 11:25 p.m. Tuesday when a man pulled a gun on him and demanded money, police said.
The victim refused, and the man kicked him to the ground, where he rummaged through his pockets, video shows.
The crook stole the victim’s wallet, which contained credit cards and $50, according to police.

The thief then fled the area in a gray, four-door sedan. Police said the vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Cannon Place.
The victim suffered a minor injury to his right knee and was treated at the scene by EMS.
Police believe the suspect is between 20 and 30 years old. They said he has a ponytail.
