According to police, the victim was walking at 103rd Street and Roosevelt Avenue around 12:30 p.m. near the entrance of the 7 train when he was first approached by the man wearing a blue polo, black shorts and white shoes, who then appeared to grab the victim's cellphone.

When the victim appeared to turn to see the first suspect, the second, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, white shoes, and a black face mask, hit the victim, knocking him to fall to the ground.

Cops said the men also kicked the victim during the unprovoked attack, that left him with injuries to his face and neck with bruising and swelling. He refused medical attention, though.
