NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Police released surveillance video Tuesday showing a man stabbing a security guard and punching an employee at an Apple Store in Manhattan last week during a reported dispute over the store's mask rule.

It all started when the man got into an argument with a 37-year-old security guard in the Apple Store at W. 14th Street and Ninth Avenue in the Meatpacking District around 6:20 p.m. Friday.
The confrontation was reportedly over the man's refusal to wear a mask in the store, as is required.
The dispute escalated and the man smacked the security guard before fleeing the store, police said.
However, he quickly returned and punched a 25-year-old woman working at the store in the face, video shows.
The man then got into a scuffle with the security guard, who he slashed and stabbed with a knife, police said.

The suspect fled the store on foot and was still being sought on Tuesday.
The security guard suffered a slash wound to his forehead, a stab wound to his left arm and three stab wounds to his back. He was taken by EMS to Bellevue Hospital.
The employee suffered pain and swelling to her face. Police said she refused medical attention.
