VIDEO: Bronx thief steals McNuggets, cheeseburgers at knifepoint

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man is wanted by the NYPD for stealing chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers from a Bronx McDonald’s at knifepoint, police said Wednesday.

The real-world Hamburglar held up the McDonald’s on E. 170th Street in Mount Eden around 4:30 p.m. last Monday.

He entered the eatery and threatened workers with a knife while demanding food, police said.

He then walked behind the counter and stole one 20-piece chicken McNuggets, one six-piece chicken McNuggets and two McDouble cheeseburgers, according to police.

Video shows the suspect, clad in an Astros jersey, bandana and face mask, stuffing the food into his pockets as a cashier looks on.

Police said the man fled with the chicken nuggets and burgers.

No injuries were reported.
