VIDEO: Man wanted in armed carjacking on Brooklyn street

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man wanted in connection with an armed carjacking in Brooklyn last month, authorities said.

Police said that at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Monday, January 17, a 26-year-old man was seated in a 2021 Jeep Cherokee in front of 1121 Greene Avenue in Bushwick when he was approached by a group who displayed a firearm and demanded his property.

The victim exited his car and the suspects entered it before fleeing the location in an unknown direction, officials said.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators have surveillance images of one of the suspects sought in the vicinity where the incident took place after the incident.

The suspect is described as a man, approximately 20-30 years old, and was last seen wearing a baseball cap and a red and black jacket.
