The NYPD released video Thursday of the July 10 assault and robbery as they search for the pair.
The 34-year-old victim was outside of a pizzeria on New Utrecht Avenue, near 16th Avenue, in Bensonhurst around 4:25 a.m. when two men in their 20s got into an argument with him.

One of the men punched him in the face with a closed fist, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the sidewalk, police said.
Video shows the two men rummaging through the victim’s pockets as he lies motionless on the ground.

Police said the suspects stole a metal chain off his neck and a cellphone and wallet from his pockets before fleeing.
The victim was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center in critical but stable condition with lacerations to his head and back.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
