NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a man who stabbed two employees at the Museum of Modern Art on Saturday afternoon after an alleged dispute over his membership.

The suspect, identified by police as 60-year-old Gary Cabana, has yet to be located by authorities.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect jumping over a desk at the museum and attacking two employees—both 24-years-old—and stabbing them multiple times.

A female victim was stabbed in the lower back and in the back of her neck while the male victim was stabbed in the left collar bone, police said. Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The attacker was allegedly angry over the fact that his membership was revoked because of two previous incidents of disorderly conduct in recent days.
Cabana showed up at the MoMA on Saturday to see a screening of a movie but was denied entry because of his membership status at which point he went into a rage and attacked the two workers, according to police.

The museum was temporarily closed on Saturday after the incident as authorities believed Cabana was still inside but surveillance footage showed him leaving the building.
Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this male is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
