NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Horrifying video released by the NYPD on Thursday shows a masked, black-clad gunman ambushing and killing a Georgia man on a street near JFK Airport in Queens earlier this week.
The video shows the gunman—wearing a black hat and what appears to be a black robe—beside a white Nissan sedan in the area of South Conduit Avenue and 132nd Street in South Ozone Park shortly before 8 a.m. on Monday.
The Nissan’s hood is up, and the gunman grabs something from what appears to be a bag in the engine compartment as the 46-year-old victim walks down the street behind him.

As the victim opens the driver’s door of a black SUV, the gunman runs towards him and opens fire, video shows.
The victim lies lifeless on the driver’s seat as the gunman runs back to the Nissan, slams the hood shut and speeds away.
The gunman fled northbound down 132nd Street, police said.
The victim was shot multiple times in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. He was identified as Jermaine Dixon of Loganville, Georgia.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
