NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The search is on for two suspects caught on camera pushing their way into a Bronx building and beating down a man standing in the lobby, police said.
On Oct. 24 just before 12:30 a.m., a 36-year-old man was standing in the lobby of his building near Lowerre Place and East 226th Street, cops said.
It was then that police said two male suspects approached him and forced their way into the building’s lobby.
According to the NYPD, the suspects punched and kicked the victim across his body, took his wallet, containing $500, and phone. The suspects fled the area.
The victim later reported the incident to police, and went to a hospital with pain and bruising across his body, a lip laceration and a dislodged tooth.
Video released by police appears to show one of the suspects point at the door before both males stop and stand at the door.
The footage then cuts to the men as they force their way in, and soon after beat the man on a staircase.
