NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 74-year-old woman was thrown to the ground by her hair in an unprovoked attack on a Harlem street last week, police said as they searched for a suspect.

The NYPD released new video Thursday of the shocking, daytime assault on the corner of W. 127th Street and Lenox Avenue.
The victim was walking at the intersection around 9:30 a.m. when her attacker grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the sidewalk face-first, police said.
Video shows the victim being violently forced to the ground steps away from bystanders.
The suspect fled eastbound on W. 127th Street, according to police.
The victim went to a hospital on her own, police said. The seriousness of her injuries wasn’t immediately known.
