Violent night in NYC leaves 3 people dead in separate incidents

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three people are dead after overnight violent incidents in the city, authorities said Sunday.

Just after 11 p.m. Saturday, 911 calls came in about an assault on 146th St. and Amsterdam Ave. in Harlem. Responding officers found two men with stab wounds at the scene.

Cops said a 40-year-old man, Jason Jenkins, had multiple stab wounds to his abdomen and was transported to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The other man, a 29-year-old, was also taken to Harlem Hospital with multiple stab wounds where he remains in stable condition.

Authorities arrested 33-year-old Silverio Quirino around 3:30 a.m. in connection to the incident.

A short time after, police received a 911 call about shots fired at 387 Decatur St. in Crown Heights. Responding officers found a 53-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head. He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

No arrests have been made yet.

Just after midnight, another fatal shooting occurred, this time in East Flatbush. Cops were responding to calls of a person shot at East 35 St. and Church Ave. where they found 45-year-old Donovan Davy unconscious and unresponsive.

Davy was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made yet.
