NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- George Santos' denial last month that he was a drag performer in Brazil -- despite reports citing drag queens there claiming he indeed was, let alone a photo seemingly of him in drag -- inspired the drag queen Meatball to channel Santos' alleged drag alter ego Kitara Rivache at a West Village venue Sunday.

The performance -- at Sasha Velour's monthly drag night, NightGowns, at Le Poisson Rouge on Bleecker Street -- begins with a montage of news clips of Santos' various scandals.
Meatball then emerges in Santos' trademark suit-and-tie with a sweater ensemble as "This Is Me" from "The Greatest Showman."
Soon after, Meatball takes off her suit drag to reveal Santos' alleged drag persona, Kitara Ravanche, squeezed into a red dress, to the delight of the audience.

"When all the news of him being a liar came out i was obsessed with figuring out how he even made it through the first election," Meatball told 1010 WINS, of her interest in the Republican lawmaker. "And then when [journalist] Marisa Kabas broke the story of him being a drag queen in Brazil I was instantly obsessed with him."
Meatball added, "So when we interviewed Marisa on our podcast ["Sloppy Seconds"], I dressed up like George Santos and she said it was uncanny and I knew i had to make fun of him."

"I’m absolutely gagged by all the attention it’s getting," Meatball told 1010 WINS of the clip of her performance racking up hundreds of thousands of views. "I just want George to be fun and free and come to one of my drag shows. I’d know he’s love it!"
