
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman was fatally shot on a residential street in Queens on Friday morning, police said amid a search for the gunman who killed her.

The 39-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was lying outside a home on Foch Boulevard when responding officers arrived at the scene, near 155th Street in South Jamaica, shortly before 6:30 a.m.
The woman had been shot multiple times in the chest and back, police said.
EMS transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
It's not yet known what led up to the shooting, but police said they're searching for a man wearing dark-colored clothing.
