NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance video on Sunday of a suspect who police say slashed a 48-year-old woman multiple times during an attack last week inside of a Tremont apartment building.

Police said the incident began at around 9:10 p.m. on Dec. 23, after the unidentified man got into a verbal dispute with the victim about her roommate and began to slash her face, arms and hands with a box cutter.
The victim was removed to St. Barnabas Hospital with multiple lacerations.
Authorities said the assailant fled in an unknown direction.
