NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 74-year-old woman was punched in the face while walking on a Manhattan street last week and police are searching for the woman they say is responsible.

The woman was walking in front of 485 Madison Ave. in Midtown around 11 a.m. on Aug. 24 when she was approached by a woman who punched her in the face, authorities said.
The victim fell to the ground from the impact on the punch while the suspect fled the area on foot, police said.
Emergency responders transported the victim to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition. The woman is described as a female with a dark complexion.
