NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman attempted to kidnap a 5-year-old boy who was walking with his parents in Brooklyn Monday evening, authorities said.
The boy was with his parents on the corner of Lafayette Avenue and Flatbush Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn when he was approached by the woman, police said.
The woman picked up the boy and ran about ten steps before she dropped him and fled the scene, according to officials.
Cops said the child did not sustain any injuries as a result of the attempted kidnapping. He was quickly reunited with his parents.
