NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating the death of a woman found inside a Bronx housing complex last month, according to authorities.
On Wednesday, Dec. 4, at approximately 12:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious person inside an apartment at the Mott Haven Houses located at 350 East 143rd St.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 38-year-old Tatiana Gonzalez, unconscious and unresponsive, inside the apartment, officials said.
EMS also responded to the location and transported Gonzalez to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
