NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released new surveillance footage of a man who police say attacked and forcibly touched a woman inside a Manhattan subway station before running off with her purse early Monday.

According to police, at 4 a.m. a 23-year-old woman was standing on the F platform at the 34th Street-Herald Square station when she was approached by a man who placed her in a headlock and threw her on the ground.
The suspect then allegedly grabbed the victim's private area and fled with her purse, officials said.
The victim was transported to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition, the NYPD said.
An investigation remains ongoinig.
