NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman sitting in her car was struck and injured during a drive-by shooting in the Bronx Monday night, authorities said.
Officials said the shooting happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of East 179th Street and Crotona Avenue in Crotona.

According to police, a 24-year-old woman was sitting in her vehicle when a dark-colored sedan pulled up next to her and began to shoot into her window before fleeing the scene.
The victim was transported to an area hospital after she was shot in the shoulder, the NYPD said.
