NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man spewed anti-LGBTQIA+ insults at a woman and spat in her face in a suspected hate crime outside Saks Fifth Avenue in Midtown, police said Friday as they released images of a suspect.

The 27-year-old victim was walking in front of the luxury department store at E. 50th Street and Fifth Avenue around 6 p.m. on May 31 when she and her attacker got into a dispute, it's unclear about what.

During the altercation, the man hurled the hateful remarks and spit in her face, police said.

He then fled on a pedicab bike last seen headed northbound on Sixth Avenue.

The woman was not physically injured in the attack, police said.

The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
