Woman survives jump in front of Q train at Union Square station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman is still alive after jumping in front of a subway in Manhattan Wednesday morning, police said.

The 48-year-old woman was hit by a northbound Q train around 11 a.m. at the Union Square Station, according to cops.

She was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.

The MTA tweeted shortly after noon, "N/Q/R/W trains are running with delays in both directions after emergency teams assisted someone who was struck by a train at 14 St-Union Sq."
