Man, 25, arrested after victim stabbed in chest during dispute in Jersey City: police

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A man accused of stabbing another man during a dispute in Jersey City on Monday morning was arrested, according to authorities.

At about at 9:40 a.m., Jersey City police responded to 62 Bartholdi Avenue where they discovered a 22-year-old man that had been stabbed in the chest, city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.

Officials said Andrew Moosh, 25, was involved in a verbal argument with the victim that escalated and turned violent.

Moosh was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

An investigation is ongoing.
