MASTIC BEACH, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Long Island man was arrested in Florida on Sunday in connection with a deadly May shooting, police said.
Joseph Scalafani, 32, was taken into custody just before 7 a.m. by deputies with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department, Suffolk County police said in a news release.
He will be returned to the county pending an extradition hearing, police said.
