
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating the shooting death of a 36-year-old man overnight in Brooklyn, authorities said.
Just after 9:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot at East 56th Street and Church Avenue in East Flatbush.
Upon arrival, officers observed Philson Andrews with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and right arm.
EMS transported Andrews to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the Daily News, the gunman fired 16 rounds at the victim.
There are no arrests at this time and an investigation is ongoing.
