Jamar Webber shot 19-year-old Malikah Taylor on March 7 in a house on the 2100 block of Melrose Parkway near Hillcrest Terrace.

Webber’s father told police his son said, “Get out of my way, I don’t want to hurt anyone else... She pushed me over the edge. I’m going to leave in an Uber,” according to the legal documents obtained by NJ.com.

His parents called the Union Police Department to report the shooting.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Taylor with multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders rushed her to University Hospital in Newark, where she was pronounced dead.

Webber, who was charged with murder after turning himself in three days after the shooting, is facing up to 30 years in prison.

Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 23.
