
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A New York man was arrested in New Jersey for possessing child pornography and transporting it between states, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced Tuesday.

The 52-year-old Eastchester man, Androsky Lugo, left multiple electronic devices in the care of his coworker at the New Jersey office where he worked between 2019 and 2021, authorities said.
One of the devices Lugo stored at the office was found to have a extensive collection of images and videos depicting child sexual abuse, according to officials.
An investigation also revealed that Lugo transported child pornography, on a different electronic device, from New York into New Jersey multiple times in July 2020, court documents show.
Lugo was charged with one count of transportation of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison for possessing child pornography and 5 to 20 years in prison for transporting the child pornography. In addition to the prison time, Lugo will be required to pay half a million dollars in fines.
