ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A police officer shot a person at a New Jersey Dollar General store Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at the Dollar General location on New Road in Absecon, the Atlantic City Prosecutor’s Office said.
Authorities said the police officer was not injured but further information was not immediately available, including other injuries and suspect information.
A video on social media shows multiple police cars outside of the store with police officers standing in the store’s parking lot with their guns drawn, NJ Advance reported. Gunshots can also be heard in the background of the video.
