MANORVILLE, N.Y. — Suffolk County Police on Tuesday announced a teenaged couple from Manorville who were reported missing last week have been found.

Vincent Abolafia and his girlfriend, Kaileigh Catalano, both 15, were discovered unharmed in Manhattan days after the two were seen at the Ronkonkoma Long Island Rail Road station on Thursday.
Authorities did not disclose where in Manhattan the two were found. However, family members told the New York Post they were found after Catalano’s father spotted them on a bench at the 42nd Street-Port Authority subway station.
“I ran over to them and hugged them and then screamed bloody murder for help,” Catalano’s father told the Post.
The Post reports four NYPD officers stationed nearby assisted the father and the teenagers.
The teens were reported missing on Dec. 9, the same day they were spotted at the train station waiting for the 3:11 p.m. train into New York City.
The two may have been seen later in the day in Times Square, but neither returned to their homes during the evening hours.
Suffolk County Police said the NYPD and MTA Police Department both assisted in the investigation.
