NEW CASSEL, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Detectives on Long Island arrested a teen boy on Wednesday, in connection with the shooting death of a 26-year-old man earlier this month.
The 15-year-old boy is charged with murder in the second degree.
On Sunday, May 7, police responded to a 911 call for shots fired in the vicinity of 166 State Street in New Cassel at about 8:22 p.m., officials said.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Quraan Williams, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Williams was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The teen will be arraigned on Thursday.
