INWOOD, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Police released video footage of a man accused of stealing money in a knifepoint robbery that occurred at a Long Island gas station on Wednesday.
According to detectives at 11:47 a.m., the suspect entered a Sunoco gas station, located at 20 Sheridan Blvd. in Inwood.
The suspect jumped over the counter, pulled out a knife and demanded money from the cashier, police said.
An unknown amount of money was then stolen from the register before the suspect fled on foot southbound on Sheridan Boulevard.

He was last seen wearing black pants, black jacket, white sneakers and a blue bucket hat.
