
TUCKERTON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police in New Jersey are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a teen boy following a road-rage incident along Route 9 Monday evening.
According to Tuckerton police, the incident happened at about 6:17 p.m. in the vicinity of Route 9 and Water Street near Stewart’s Drive-in.

Police said the teen exited his car to speak with the other driver who struck him and drove away.
Officials are searching for a vehicle believed to be a 2015-2018 black Chevrolet Silverado.
Authorities said that the driver fled the scene and was last scene heading south on Route 9, police said.
The teen was brought to an area hospital and the extent of his injuries is unknown.
